Eleanor Flaherty grew up in the upper Swansea Valley in South Wales and from an early age showed an interest in art, film and photography.

 

She has just graduated with an MA in Media Production at the University of Wales, Lampeter. She did her undergraduate studies at Winchester University where she gained a BA (Hons) in Drama, Theatre and Television Studies.

 

She returned to Wales in 2001 and helped set up a small media studio with a local charity and is now working freelance in video production, photography and illustration and design whilst continuing with voluntary work in the community.

 

Eleanor has a great love of the outdoors and enjoys hill walking, cycling and canyoning and gets much of her inspiration from her local environment.
