Jo Bach – Josef Herman (10mins)

Polish artist Josef Herman came to Wales as a refugee during WWII. He moved to Ystradgynlais where the landscape and the close-knit mining community inspired his work and reminded him of the country and family he left behind.

 


Voices of the Stones (20mins)

For over 3,000 years ancient standing stones have been watching over us from our mountains. What stories could they tell if they could talk? Using photography, video, stop motion animation, audio recording and storytelling, five groups of people from primary school children to adults, created their own stories about five of these stones.

Mankind and the horse have been working side by side for centuries. Up until very recently it was the horse that drove the industry and agriculture of South Wales.

With emotive stories from people who have worked with the horse, this film celebrates our unique relationship with this wonderful animal.
