Wrapped by the zinc alloy frame is a gorgeous leather pad. There are five options: Marsala, Prussian Blue, Sandy Brown, Smoky Grey, and Classic. The Marsala, Sandy Brown, and Classic options come with a gunmetal colored frame, while the Smoky Grey and Prussian Blue come with a silver colored frame. All five of these look great but I’m loving the smooth, dark red leather on my Marsala review unit. The airflow ring on the 510 magnetic adaptor has no end stops so will open and close continually as you move it around. It’s a very tight and secure fit so will not move once set to the position you require. As the battery reached the end of its charge cycle I was still getting an impressively powerful vape with no loss in performance. It’s Time For A BoostThe size of the mod on its own is 88mm x 34mm x 28mm and it weighs in at 133grams. Considering it takes a 21700 sized battery, this makes this a very compact, lightweight and powerful mod/pod. The combined height of the mod and pod tank is 141mm. Each TPP pod tank will hold up to 2ml of eliquid and has a standard 510 connection, so it's able to be attached to most mods. However, you can also remove the magnetic pod for easy bottom refilling. The use of hardwearing plastics means they're less prone to breakage compared to glass tanks, while at the same remaining a lighter option. Two VooPoo TPP coils are included, both of which can be paired with high VG eliquids. The TPP DM1 0.15 Ohm coil produces more vapour than the 0.2 Ohm version, with both options supported by the kit's wattage output. The Drag X Plus and TPP Tank come with two new TPP coils: a DM1 0.15ohm coil and a DM2 0.20ohm coil.

Purchasing the mod on its own may be limited as I can imagine it will be sold in a kit along with the new TPP 2.0 Pod and 510 adaptor. I’m glad that Voopoo didn’t change too much from the design of the Drag X. I like this look, size, and shape. It’s a good looking device that feels premium. The portable size and weight are perfect for an everyday device. When working with Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable cells, please be cautious and carefully use as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Please make sure that you have great knowledge on all rechargeable batteries before you use them. Always charge batteries at the clean and fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. If you see that there are visible damages on the batteries, please do not use. Always keep, store and transport the rechargeable cells in a safe, non-conductive container in a controlled environmentI do prefer a long slow draw and I found that the minimum recommended wattage was way to high for my normal style of vaping. The PnP coils performed amazingly at such low wattage. Bearing this in mind, I will start of low and see what happens. Wattage mode works as it should. It fires instantly and delivers consistent power. However, the Drag X Plus is limited by its maximum voltage of 4.2V. This maximum voltage output means that unless you’re using a coil with a resistance of 0.18Ω or lower, you’re not going to be able to achieve the full 100W output. Any coil with a resistance higher than 0.18Ω will be limited by this 4.2V max output. For example, with a 0.3Ω coil the maximum wattage you can achieve is going to be 58.80W. In some ways, this makes the Drag X Plus like a mechanical mod that is limited by the maximum voltage of the battery. All this is to say that the Drag X Plus does not have a boost circuit which is disappointing to say the least. The question is, will the Drag X Plus be an upgrade or downgrade? Even more pressing, are the New TPP coils better then the incredibly popular PnP coils?

E-liquid capacity in the TPP Pod Tank is 5.5ml (standard) or 2ml (EU version). The 2ml version is the same size diameter as the standard version but is restricted with the use of a grey silicone rubber bung. A wide bore round 810 mouth-piece is a push fit type with double O-rings which locate into the stainless steel top cap.
