About this deal

Logan and Grace — 2★. They are my second favorite couple and this part could have rated higher if not for the recycling of the previous Christmas story. Anyway, the added parts were good so I don't have much to complain about here. I kinda forgot how dorky Logan and Grace are, but they are so so cute I could take these silly stories forever! Also, John Logan finally being happy? that's all i needed to know. No couple got really romantic moment, more was giving to guy being together, Jamie was scene-staler so adorable. In end this was boring with least amount of effort from EK. Everyone already thinks Conor and Taylor hooked up, and Conor is wildly attracted to the Marilyn Monroe lookalike. She intrigued him, and was a welcomed change from the women he usually spent his time with. She was honest, intelligent, kind, genuine and real. As their fake relationship grows into something more, an intense connection forms. Feelings develop, and soon one touch and Taylor realizes she's way in over her head. His kisses should come with a warning label, and she's terrified if she takes a chance on Conor, she'll end up with a broken heart. My babies who are having babies, their part didn't meet my expectations but i loved it and garret is still stupid. I can't believe he thought hannah was moving out but it was cute. he spent all night staring at the sonogram and realized that he can't not have a baby with hannah. garret is a giant cutie.

Oh boy was I excited to read THE RISK. After meeting Brenna and Jake Connelly in The Chase I knew their story would be one of my most anticipated books of 2019. I loved Conor just as much as I loved Taylor. Both of them were fantastic characters. These two together made me so happy. Of course there was some conflict, but it was more outside things coming in and not issues between them.

The plot with the doll that the guys were gifting to each other was hilarious. It was always interesting to see where Alexander would appear next, only to see the couples' reaction to it. 😂 The Dare (Briar U, #4) by Elle Kennedy is a flirty, fun, slow burn, college sports romance that is captivating and hilarious. I absolutely loved Conor Edwards! Something funny and unexpected always seems to fly out of his mouth, but he also has such a beautiful heart. I couldn't get enough of these fabulous characters, and love this series so much!

The tiny shout out to Ryan Wesley was a surprise and put a big grin on my face. I love the Him/Us series! At seven minutes, I might still be somewhat receptive, especially if the lateness is accompanied by a heads-up call or text informing me he’s going to be late. Traffic is an evil mistress. Sometimes she screws you.

You see, I wasn't expecting anything out of this novella collection, but damn, this was a whole other level of "go girl, give us nothing". The Play Briar U, Book 3 Get ready for another binge-worthy romance from New York Timesbestselling author Elle Kennedy! Also, when she did write new scenes (I say this very vaguely), she just cuts the scene before the big moment? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Conor. *swoons* Who doesn't like a sexy goofball that's quite the manwh*re but with a heart of gold and plenty of hidden insecurities and vulnerabilities. Certainly not me. I fell fast and hard for this man. But whatever. It is what is. That’s my attitude about most things. Can’t change the past, don’t cry over the present, don’t stress about the future. It’s all pointless, especially regret.’

yeah, in the end this book was just average. it was cute and all but there wasnt any big ”wow” factor so… yeah

Life is funny sometimes. Funny how a simple bet—well, maybe not so simple when it involves snarky sorority sisters, alcohol and sex—can change just about everything in someone’s life. For the better. Now don't pay much mind to my rating. Because a 3.5 star for me means that I enjoyed it. Quite a bit actually. This was a super cute, slow burn, friends-to-lovers trope with plenty of laughs and deliciously steamy. Of course I will never get enough of the Briar boys, so I was all over this like white on rice. This novella was already published so there wasn't much new content to Logan and Grace story, but surprisingly I didn't enjoy it any less the second time around, even tho this couple is not my favorite in the series. Grace and Logan's part of the book is probably the most chill out of all the four couples. Their 'conflict' wasn't as bad as the others and Logan and Grace had the most couple time where they were happy in each other company imo. Brianna has always wanted to become a sports journalist but with it being dominated by the male gender it's going to be hard getting her foot in the door. She's majoring in Broadcasting and Journalism at Briar.A deliciously sexy story with a wallop of emotions that sneaks up on you’ Vi Keeland, No.1 New York Times bestselling author I don’t mean to dismiss the issues being discussed here, but they seem petty and juvenile. It’s 2020, and there are more important matters to deal with than making fun of someone’s body type, trying to one up your friends out of jealousy, or fighting over a guy who’s not even worth it to begin with. EDIT: I knew it was coming that one day I wake up and think about this book again and hate most about it. So I actually re-read HannahGarrett's novella again and felt sooo disappointed. Love the idea of them being the first book in the series and then, the last book ending with their chapters, but Elle Kennedy did (all) the characters so dirty... 😭 Brenna has her heart set on a sports broadcasting internship and it looks like she’s going to need Jake’s help to land it. More specifically, she needs him to pose as her boyfriend. this definitely would’ve been a 5 star if dean wasnt so immature at the end. elle kennedy really had to just take the same issue in ”the score” where he just went into this hole of idk tbh BUT ITS ANNOYING
