With the game now only a month and a half away, today’s presentation would be an ideal time for Nintendo to officially announce its accompanying Switch OLED hardware if it is genuine. Everythingnotsaved You'll need to be patient for pics I'm afraid. My partner doesn't exactly know about 10 of them, and they're all boxed up in various locations. But I'll give you the rundown: Nintendo has officially announced a Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED console, which launches in April. Nintendo will be streaming a presentation today at 7am PT / 3pm BST that will show off 10 minutes of new Tears of the Kingdom gameplay.

I've been using the OLED Switch for a few months now. Switching from the TV to the console and the difference between the OLED Switch and the normal is astounding. Taking a game like breath of the wild when you're in the depths. A game that isn't really trying to be scary at all. When using the OLED switch I found the depths to be pretty suspenseful. You can see ALMOST nothing when trying to find the bulbs. Exclusive Tears of Kingdom design: The console's unique Tears of Kingdom-themed design, including custom Joy-Con controllers, adds a touch of elegance and collector's appeal. The much-rumoured Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED may finally be officially revealed today, a GameStop employee has claimed. Joy-Con drift potential: Although not exclusive to this edition, the Joy-Con drift issue that has affected some Nintendo Switch controllers could potentially be a concern for players. I told myself the OLED wasn't worth buying unless it was a Zelda Edition. Then lo and behold, Nintendo granted me my wish. Finally a Zelda themed Switch at my fingertips! I absolutely love the signature Gold that is plastered on the JoyCon with the TOTK design. The larger screen wasn't something I thought I'd appreciate but it definately makes playing it as a handheld much more enjoyable along with the louder speakers. I completely recommend for any Zelda fan. Even if your not a Zelda fan, the design looks amazing! The Nintendo OLED Switch Tears of Kingdom Edition is a visually stunning and highly anticipated upgrade to the popular Nintendo Switch console. This limited edition model not only boasts an enhanced OLED display but also features exclusive Tears of Kingdom-themed designs that immerse players into a world of fantasy and adventure. In this detailed review, we will explore the key features, performance, design, and overall gaming experience offered by the Nintendo OLED Switch Tears of Kingdom Edition. In June 2021, following two years without any meaningful updates, the platform holder released a new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 trailer and confirmed plans to release the game in 2022. It was later delayed to Spring 2023. It was finally given its official title, Tears of the Kingdom, earlier this year. The new Zelda game reportedly grew from DLC ideas for the first Switch game that took on a life of their own, so while it should expand on what players have seen before, the base is likely to be similar. After another user asked them to prove they weren’t just making it up, SecretSantaSeven posted a photo of GameStop’s internal system, which lists an item named ‘HW TBD’ (hardware to be determined) under its ‘Upcoming Video Game System’ category.

Improved battery life: The extended battery life allows for longer gaming sessions without frequent charging, enhancing the portability and convenience of the console. Limited availability: As a limited edition console, the Tears of Kingdom Edition may be difficult to find or come with a higher price tag compared to the standard Nintendo Switch models.Limited game library: While the Nintendo Switch has a diverse range of games, the Tears of Kingdom Edition does not come with any exclusive game titles, limiting its appeal to fans of Tears of Kingdom specifically.

The Tears of Kingdom Edition comes with specially designed Joy-Con controllers that feature unique artwork inspired by the game. The controllers offer excellent ergonomics and responsive inputs, ensuring precise and comfortable gameplay. The HD Rumble and motion control capabilities further enhance the immersion factor, enabling players to enjoy a wide range of gaming experiences. Exceptional performance: The custom Tegra processor ensures smooth and lag-free gameplay, maintaining the high standard set by the Nintendo Switch. An epic adventure awaits in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, only on the Nintendo Switch system.

Purchase options

Overall I'm glad I upgraded. I'm only wishing I'd done it when the OLED launched so I couldve done my first playthrough of Dread on it. If you're on the fence about buying the game because of that. Don't be. ITS WORTH IT! Even at the price bump I'd call TOTK worth it. I do not mind paying more if the game is as good as that. (that could be rose tinted glasses as I have a lot of nostalgia for Zelda as it was my first game essentially) One thing I found pretty weird was that the switch didn't come with the game. Normally when they laugh a special edition console it comes with the game? At least in every special edition console I've bought before.
